HPU VS ORSP TEST REPORT
Introduction
Intro:
Polyurethanes generally exhibit outstanding tear strength and elongation, high resistance to chemical, oil, abrasion and wear, good UV stability and high impact strength.
Oz Seals formulated their own range of super polymers with superior material property characteristics than the common polyurethanes that is already on the market.
To compare these two similar, but very different materials, various tests were conducted to showcase their property characteristics.
Testing Methods
1) Machine Ability Test
2) Stretch Test
3) Material Memory Test
4) Tensile Strength Test
5) Heat Test
Test Results
Test Report:
- From the 5 tests that was conducted, it can be easily concluded that the ORSP is a leg up from its other polyurethane counterparts.
- It is a far more superior material in the sealing industry.
- It has higher tensile strength, better memory, excellent abrasion resistance and is triple lubricated
- It superior material characteristics ultimately depletes a machine’s downtime and keeps the machine running smoothly
